Work Description

Addition and/or Alteration - Provide HVAC equipment power wiring consisting of air-cooled chiller, pumps, boilers, air handling units - AHU and DOAS units, exhaust fans, fan coil units, blower coil units, unit ventilators, smoke dampers, split air conditioners in IDF and MDF rooms and water heaters as shown on the contract drawings. Remove and replace all electrical feeders and conduits for HVAC units that will be replaced and upgraded shown on drawings. Remove existing gas driven generator and all associated feeders, conduits, special purpose receptacle and manual and automatic transfer switches. Provide and install with an outdoor standby diesel generator with associated automatic transfer switches, feeders and conduits as shown on the contract drawings. Replace existing interior lighting with LED lighting fixtures and switching as shown on the contract drawings. Provide new lighting in compliance with applicable Philadelphia energy codes. Provide wiring for Smoke Duct Detectors to existing Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. Provide programming to existing fire alarm panel. Provide testing of fire alarm system for fully operational fire alarm system. Provide power wiring for BAS controllers as shown on contract drawings. Provide new electrical receptacles for new window mounted AC units and water coolers as shown on contract drawings. Provide underground conduits and feeders on site as shown on Civil contract drawings. Provide grounding to chain link fence enclosure for generator as shown on civil drawings. Provide new receptacles and panels in locations as shown on plans. Provide feeders, conduit and wiring to new distribution panels as shown on the contract drawings. Provide temporary generator and temporary feeder for connection to existing transfer switch for emergency power during demolition of existing gas driven generator. Install electrical conduits in utility trench excavated by mechanical contractor to chillers located outside. Install conduit for BMS wiring in utility tr
