Work Description
We ran approximately 60 feet of 1-1/4 poly with riser to supply gas to an outdoor pool Heater. Prior to running gas we called Texas gas with a BTU count and was approved to tie in just after the meter. Tracer wire is laid in trench where the poly is laid. We painted all exposed Threaded pipe. An iron body valve is ahead of all the poly and riser and an additional 1/4 turn WOG valve is at the heater. we will be testing the system with compress air at a tee just passed the iron body valve as to not turn off the gas supply to the house. We tried to get this inspected in December but were slowed due to existing and expired permits from other contractors now that all has been passed we are seeking an inspection and permission to turn on the supply to the pool heater and cover the entire trench. The homeowner covered the trench but left the risers exposed. He was concerned as he had an employee Christmas party and didnt want anyone to trip on the excavation. I do have pictures and the depth of the poly is at 20 to the top of the pipe. Approximately 55 bags of all-purpose sand were used to bed (and cover) the poly before it was partially backfilled. Dig TESS was called before and excavation from a third party hired by the homeowner began excavation. Thank you Kindley and my apologies if we had a missed inspection. My name is Mike my phone number is 512-909-9442. please call me if there are any concerns or anything I missed that needs addressed.
