Work Description

Addition and/or Alteration - HORIZONTAL CABLING: Cabling will be CommScope Category 6 plenum rated 4-pair. • Provide and install one (1) single wall phone location. • Provide and install fifty-six (56) furniture mount single locations. • Provide and install twenty-three (23) flush mount dual locations. • Provide and install ten (10) flush mount single TV locations. • Provide and install thirty-six (36) flush mount single locations. • Provide and install twelve (12) flush mount quad locations. • Provide and install ten (10) ceiling mount single wireless access point locations. • Provide and install seven (7) flush mount single state locations. • Provide and install CommScope faceplates, surface mount boxes and modular jacks as required for termination of the 4-pair cables at the workstation location. • Provide and install six (6) CommScope 48-port flat modular patch panels, each loaded with the required modular jacks. These will be installed at the appropriate closet location for termination of the 4-pair cables. FIBER BACKBONE CABLING: • Provide and install one (1) Corning 12-strand 50um OM3 multimode plenum rated fiber optic cable from the MDF to the IDF. • Provide and install twenty-four (24) Corning LC multimode connectors. These will be installed for termination of each strand of fiber optic cable installed. • Provide and install two (2) Corning 1RU rack mount enclosures, each equipped with one (1) loaded panel. One (1) each will be installed in the MDF and IDF for housing fiber optic terminations.
