Work Description

Addition and/or Alteration - STATEMENT OF WORK: HORIZONTAL CABLING: • Based on cable take-off list provided by Preferred Comm Tech, Bluestone has included the installation of one hundred eighty-five (185) Category 6 network cables and twelve (12) Category 6A cables for wireless access points. Counts include additional cables for 7th Floor. • Provide labor to install twelve (12) customer-provided wireless access points. • Provide labor to install thirty-five (35) customer-provided room schedulers and patch cords. • Provide labor to install faceplates, surface mount boxes and modular jacks as required for termination of the 4-pair cables installed. • Provide labor to install six (6) 48-port patch panels. These will be installed at the appropriate closet location for termination of the 4-pair cables installed. • Provide labor to install three hundred ninety-four (394) patch cords. • Provide labor to relocate (41) existing single locations, reterminate and test it in the new faceplate and blank off the old location. This work will be performed after hours. RACKS & LADDER RACKING: • Provide labor to install two (2) racks, two (2) wire managers and ladder racking as required at the closet location. • Provide labor to ground the racks and ladder racking. • Provide labor to assist with the rack and stack of IT equipment.
