Permit 2 SPT 9.6.22 Bed Tower - Shell Permit 2 - A new (replacement) hospital, 12 stories plus a 14th story for support of 2 helipads, 320 licensed beds (448 at full build out), 21 intervention rooms (32 at full build out), Emergency Department, Imaging Department, shelled auditorium.Project begins with the demolitions of the existing Carolinas Rehabilitation and Blythe Parking Deck. The Bed Tower will be connected to the new Carolinas Rehabilitation by two bridges and one bridge will connect to the existing Carolinas Medical Center.
